When you add the QUID Payments plugin to your WordPress site, you will see new fields in the WordPress editor at the end of each blog post. These fields allow you to configure how the QUID plugin works for that specific blog post and different blog posts can have different plugin settings.

Payment Type

This is a drop-down with the options None, Required, and Optional. 

None

The post is not affected by the QUID Payments plugin.

Required

Only the blog post excerpt is shown until the content is purchased.

Optional

The entire content is shown but the QUID payment options are displayed at the bottom of the post allowing the reader to donate or tip.

Input Type

This is a drop-down with the options Slider or Buttons.

Slider

If the 'Input Type' is set to Slider, then a payment slider is shown where the amount the visitor pays (between your minimum and maximum prices) is up to them.

Button

If the 'Input Type' is set to Button, then a payment button is shown where the amount the visitor pays is defined by you.

Product Name

This is the Title for the blog post and is obtained by the plugin from your WordPress site. You cannot edit this value.

Product Description

This is the Name of your WordPress blog and is obtained by the plugin from your WordPress site. You cannot edit this value.

Product ID

This is the URL Slug for the blog post and is obtained by the plugin from your WordPress site. You cannot edit this value.

Product URL

This is the Permalink for the blog post and is obtained by the plugin from your WordPress site. You cannot edit this value.

Button Text

This is the text that will be displayed in the payment button if the Input Type is set to Slider. If the Input Type is set to Buttons, then the word PAY is displayed with the value of the requested payment is shown (e.g. PAY $2.00).

Paid Text

This is the text that will appear in the payment button upon purchase. This is displayed for a few seconds before the payment section is hidden from the post.

Price

This is required if the Input Type is set to Buttons. Set the value in dollars and cents (e.g. 0.23 for 23¢).

Minimum and Maximum Slider Value

These can be set if 'Input Type' is set to Slider and will define the slider's range. Set the value in dollars and cents (e.g. 0.23 for 23¢). If not provided, the default values for Minimum and Maximum slider values are used: $0.01 and $2.00, respectively.

Initial Price

This only needs to be set if the Input Type is set to Slider and will be the value at which the slider is initially set. Set the value in dollars and cents (e.g. 0.23 for 23¢).
